Welcome to Department of Civil Engineering
The Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours program is a 4-year course of study that strives to develop civil engineers with the necessary skills, creativity, and dedication to solve a variety of issues. All civil engineering disciplines are covered in the modules. The department’s courses consist of divisions including Structural and Materials Engineering, Water and Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Construction Management, and Geotechnical Engineering and Surveying. These divisions are actively involved in R&D projects with funding from the university, the government, and industry grants. Numerous academic members of the Department are pursuing diverse consulting positions in engineering.
Entry Requirements
The minimum qualifications for candidates who intend to enroll a Bachelor of Civil Engineering are as follows:
- High school Transcripts with a minimum of 75% and Passed Mathematics and Physics in National Examinations with minimum of Grade C
- Good Command in English
- If failed to bring certificates Candidates are required to submit the National Roll no ID during the admission process and bring the full Diploma and Certificates when Semester begins.
- Candidate has to bring 4 passport sized photos when registering physically.
Award Requirements
To graduate, students must:
- Pass all the required courses in total of 8 semesters with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
- Pass Industrial Training
